Pair of Candlesticks

This pair of candlesticks will stand strong for generations of candlelight. Each has an elegant and handmade feel that celebrates wabi sabi, the Japanese aesthetic embracing imperfection.

Choose between two heights: 9.5" and 10". Each has a round hammered tray base that is approximately 4.5" in diameter with a turned up lip that is approximately 3/4" tall. The part that receives the candle is just under an inch in diameter; candles that are 7/8" in diameter fit snuggly and securely. The beeswax candles in listing photos are 7/8" in diameter at their widest. Candles are not included. 

Designed by Raina and hand forged by Ruben, these candle holders are made without jigs or templates allowing each to celebrate unique character. Hammer marks on the metal speak to the ancient process of blacksmithing with the overall form emanating a contemporary feel. Made out of mild steel (which contains some irons) and finished with raw beeswax.
