Lunar Bowl, Personalized

Our Lunar Candle Bowl embodies the moon's cycle, with eight moon phases stamped into the metal along the inner edge of the bowl.

This piece was designed by Raina, hand forged out of mild steel by Ruben and finished with raw beeswax. Unique marks of character speak to both the ancient craft of blacksmithing and the nuances of each piece of metal. For this reason, each bowl is slightly different, embracing wabi-sabi, the Japanese aesthetic that celebrates imperfection.

A unique 6th anniversary gift (iron anniversary), 11th anniversary gift (steel anniversary), wedding gift or housewarming gift. This personalized heirloom piece is solid and will stand strong for generation after generation.

The bowl sits just under 2" tall with a roughly 5.75" diameter. The flattened bottom is about 2.5" in diameter, allowing for a stable base and a level spot for a 2.5" diameter pillar candle inside (as depicted in one of the listing photos).

Personalization is hand-stamped into the centre of the underside of the bowl. We use 3/16" tall numbers and letters. "/", "-", "&", "+", "." and a heart shape are also options. Select the "number of characters" that fits your desired text and fill in the personalization field.
