Trio of Candlesticks

This set of three forged candlesticks have an elegant and handmade feel that celebrates wabi sabi, the Japanese aesthetic embracing imperfection. These heirloom pieces will stand strong for generations of candlelight!

Candlesticks sit approximately 4.5", 7" and 9.5" tall. Each has a round hammered tray base that is approximately 4.5" in diameter with a turned up lip that is approximately 3/4" tall. The part that receives the candle is just under an inch in diameter; taper candles that are 3/4" or a little larger in diameter will fit nicely. The candles in listing photos are 7/8" in diameter at their widest. Candles are not included.

Designed by Raina and hand forged by Ruben, these candlesticks are made without jigs or templates allowing each to celebrate unique character. Hammer marks on the metal speak to the ancient process of blacksmithing with the overall form emanating a contemporary feel. Made out of mild steel (which contains irons) and finished with raw beeswax.
