Our Wabi Sabi Bowl is heated in the forge and hammered into shape on the anvil by Ruben Irons, Artist Blacksmith. Unique marks of character speak to the ancient craft of blacksmithing and the subtleties of the particular piece of mild steel (contains iron). The bowl has a raw beeswax finish to preserve the industrial steel grey color.
Each is one-of-a-kind with overall measurements remaining similar: approximately 2.5" high, 6.25" across and the flattened bowl bottom is about 2.75" in diameter, allowing for a stable base. The bowl is made out of 1/4" plate. The piece weighs approximately 2.25 lbs.
This bowl can be personalized on the underside as seen in some of the listing photos. Have us stamp initials, an anniversary or wedding date, and/or any other personalization centred on the underside of the bowl. We use 3/16" tall letters and numbers. "/", ".", "&", "+" are also options, as well as a heart-shaped stamp. Select the "number of characters" that fits your text and send us a note with your desired personalization.
Not food safe and, to avoid rust, bowl should be kept away from moisture.
