Wabi Sabi Copper Bowl, Personalized

These hand hammered, hand stamped personalized copper bowls are made from 16 gage (approximately 1/16") pure copper plate, finely shaped by Ruben on his anvil. The ancient forging process is embedded within each piece, as revealed in the surface texture left behind after hundreds of hammer strikes.  They are roughly 5.5" in diameter and 2" tall.  

Our personalized copper bowls are finished with a semi-permanent coating of raw beeswax which allows the copper to slowly develop its own unique patina as it ages. Expect your copper to darken with the passage of time. 

Copper has long been embraced as the traditional gift for the 7th wedding anniversary gift. The pure metal itself is thought to represent strength, love and protection and has been used in ritual throughout the ages. Personalize your copper bowl with custom initials, gps coordinates, a wedding date, lyrics from a song, a special note. Personalization will be stamped by hand. As a result, there will be variations in letter placement and depth. We consider this part of the charm of your unique handcrafted piece!
