Lunar Bowl

Our Lunar Bowl embodies the moon's cycle, with eight moon phases stamped into the metal along the inner edge of the bowl.

This piece was designed by Raina, hand forged out of mild steel by Ruben and finished with raw beeswax. Unique marks of character speak to both the ancient craft of blacksmithing and the nuances of each piece of metal. For this reason, each bowl is slightly different, embracing wabi-sabi, the Japanese aesthetic that celebrates imperfection.

This heirloom piece is solid and will stand strong for generation after generation.

The bowl sits just under 2" tall with a roughly 5.75" diameter. The flattened bottom is about 2.5" in diameter, allowing for a stable base and a level spot for a 2.5" diameter pillar candle inside (as depicted in one of the listing photos).
